| The October board meeting will be held this Monday, October 6th at 5:30pm at Barker's Island. We will primarily be discussing the agenda for the upcoming all membership meeting on Oct. 18th.
This year's annual banquet will be Saturday, October 18. Please contact Amy Carlson if you would like to help out.
In addition, we need to begin rounding up trophies from last year; if you have one, please return it to David Turnham before the banquet or bring it to Glenwood Trophies.
Finally, we will be having a silent auction again this year; we are asking each boat owner and each boat's crew to donate one item. We thought it might be fun to challenge people to donate items related to their boat's name, i.e. binoculars and a birdwatching guide for "Stellar Jay". Also, for anyone who has connections with local businesses, please consider asking for donations. It is a great way to support the club and your donations are greatly appreciated. More information will follow regarding logistics for auction items. |
